What are Pancreatic Enzymes
Pancreatic enzymes help break down fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
The three (3) types of enzymes are: (1) Lipase, which work with bile from the liver to break down fat molecules so they can be absorbed and used by the body,
(2) Protease, which breaks down proteins and help in keeping the intestine free of parasites such as bacteria, yeast and protozoa, and (3) Amylase, which breaks down carbohydrates into sugars which are easily absorbed by the body.
